About Dr. Svetlana Pikus

Dr. Svetlana Pikus is an Illinois College of Optometry graduate and has provided eye care in the Chicago area for over 20 years. She trained extensively with renowned Low Vision Diplomate and IALVS founder, Dr. Richard Shuldiner and became a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists.
She provides her unique care to those suffering from conditions including Macular Degeneration, Stargardt's, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, and Cataracts. She serves patients from Illinois and Wisconsin.
 
Dr. Pikus uses specialized, custom-designed glasses including bioptic telescopes and prismatic to help people improve their abilities to drive, read their mail, play cards, recognize faces, and watch TV as well as their independence and quality of life.
